With the financial crisis still ongoing and times still hard for most of us in terms of many there are many people that dream of having their mortgage repayments covered for them if only for a limited period of time.

One lucky man from the UK now stands to save thousands of pounds after he managed to scoop a prize that meant that his mortgage repayments would be covered for a whole year, and he won the great prize simply by playing bingo online.

The promotion was hosted recently by the bingo giant Mecca Bingo as part of its online gaming promotion, and the lucky winner, Xnikkis Hubbyx, had decided to play bingo during the promotion.

The thirty seven year old said that he had only been playing online bingo for less than one week when he won the fabulous prize, which was offered to one lucky winner who had played online bingo over the month of August. The gaming giant announced the winner’s name in a live chat room.

The winner had not played online bingo at all before, and only decided to play after his wife, who is a fan of online bingo and had been playing for some months, introduced him to it.

Just a week after starting to play the game he was lucky enough to scoop the prize, which means that he now does not have to worry about his mortgage repayments for a whole year and stands to save thousands of pounds on the cost of his mortgage as a result.

He said: “It took three or four days to sink in. I couldn’t believe my luck! This was one of the biggest wins so I was very happy.”
